The child lives with the Primary Parent full-time. The Primary Parent attempts to control all aspects of the care for the child when the child is with the other parent. The Primary Parent will create rules that only apply to the other parent. For example, the Primary Parent may demand prior notice and an itinerary for travel plans with the child then the Primary Parent may travel with the child without prior notice or an itinerary to the other parent. The Primary Parent will attempt to discredit the other parents parenting abilities and attempt to explain why they are better than the other parent.
The Primary Parent refuses to acknowledge the child has another parent, even when the child spends equal time with both parents. The Primary Parent will demand that their address is listed as the home address for schools, doctors, extracurricular activities, etc. The Primary Parent will attempt to micromanage routine decisions during the other parent’s time. The Primary Parent may request to be the parent to take the child to appointments even when the child is with the other parent. The Primary Parent always wants control.
